About Jung Ryeol Lee

Professor Jung Ryeol Lee graduated from the Seoul National University College of Medicine, where he also earned his Ph.D. Following this, he completed his residency and fellowship at Seoul National University Hospital and Seoul National University Bundang Hospital. He is currently a professor at Seoul National University College of Medicine and Seoul National University Bundang Hospital and serves as the chairman of his department.

Professor Lee has conducted extensive research and published numerous articles in the areas of fertility preservation, assisted reproductive technologies, fertility regeneration, and minimally invasive surgery. His main academic interests are fertility preservation, regeneration and anti-aging in reproduction, minimally invasive surgery, and digital medicine. He is recognized as a leading figure among Korean clinicians and researchers in fertility preservation, reproductive endocrinology, and infertility. He is also a leading surgeon in the field of minimally invasive surgery, including single-port laparoscopic and robot-assisted surgery.

In addition, Professor Lee has served as an associate editor and editor-in-chief for many international peer-reviewed journals, such as Human Reproduction, Frontiers in Endocrinology, and Journal of Menopausal Medicine. As a board or council member, he has contributed to numerous International and Korean academic societies dedicated to reproductive endocrinology and fertility preservation.
